Does it seem this Murray Energy guy, Bob Murray, is dealing straight...
or dealing in such a manner so as to conceal his lack of regard for enlightened corporate thought http://www.umwa.org/journal/VOL112NO4/july1.shtml

His 1st news conference was a countdown litany to the fear of higher prices in the event of Dem supported legislation to better the plight of hard working miners, which was just strange. And it has really hit me sideways that many follow-ups have found him on the wrong side of safety, and hiring practices.

Mining is so vital, so hard a job to perform. But imo there can be no short cuts round concerns regarding safety

1. I heard he already lied about it being a quake
The university people he quoted as it being a quake that caused the collapse came forward and said that the info was not even available when Murray made his claims. They said that they never had such info on Tuesday. I heard this on Hartmann's radio program earlier today.

Seems like Murray is saying anything to save his own ass.

2. He positively bristled when a reporter asked for clarification as to 'retreat mining'...
being performed in his mine, a dangerous process by all account...but subsequent indicators suggest that he was utilizing just such a technique
