Who thinks the Bush regimes refusal to testify under oath is going to play well next election?
Its not going to play well. Its going to eat at people. People will begin wondering what are these criminals hiding? Next year this time this will become a a campaign issue. The Republican presidential candidate is either going to have to condone or condemn what the Bush regime has been doing. And if they condone it the American people are going to have to consider if they want 4 more years of another criminal Republican administration.

I don't mind losing a few battles here and there prior to the next election as long as we win the war.

5. A Democratic ad with just these headlines rolling down the screen would be effective

Wouldn't even need any soundtrack. They speak for themselves.

3. I didn't hear any screaming
when they refused to testify under oath to the 9/11 Commission - or without pens; paper; transcribers; etc.

WHAT IN THE HELL EVER HAPPENED TO COMMON SENSE?

When you REFUSE to testify UNDER OATH - there can only be ONE REASON for that - BECAUSE YOU ARE LYING!

I would really think people would be just a little bit curious about that, since 3,000 American citizens died, but whatever. I guess they were too busy praising Bush at the time and waving their flag.

4. Raw material for a journalist's question to candidates who posture as Bush's successor:
Would you if elected give blanket instructions your subordinates to refuse to comply with Congressional subpoenas and inquiries, as George Bush has done?
If we had a free press, that is.

6. This won't be an issue cause the MSM won't lt it be.
The media reports only the bad news that it has to report about the plutocrats. And as soon as they can, they can such stories into the seas of God's forgetfulness.

You know, where the stories about Bush's Guard service and Smedley Butler and the Florida recount and Gary Webb are.

8. Most Americans by far won't have heard about it
Of those who may have heard something about it, the majority won't care. We've seen larger crimes than this swept away successfully.
