3. Bucky is a "little shite Repug" and he's feisty.....but charming ...like the Chimp! |

I've found this Toon and OPUS have given me laughs ....and I'm so serious...not much gives me laughs..but those two TOONs just somehow speak to this animal lover...
Maybe it's that those who love animals often thing about how they would speak in HUMAN VOICE...if they could SPEAK in a way we could understand.
But..that said...with all the shit our Dems have thrown on our plates I feel sometimes like the cartoon drawing of Satchel, the Dog. I have "one ear cocked" in case Waxman, Conyers or Leahy REALLY DO COME UP WITH SOMETHING...but otherwise...I'm in this damned funk...where I look as bilious as Satchel.
Anyway...I found it a fun read to get me through hard times. Thought others might who don't usually bother with the "SUNDAY or WEEKDAY FUNNIES." It's a cynical break if you can't always catch Keith or Jon Stewart.....

I read Get Fuzzy, Dilbert, Doonesbury and that's about it anymore. Now that ya mention it I kind of feel like Satchel these days also. When I think about it Satchel is the consummate Liberal. Dammit man now you've gotten me politically analyzing my favorite comic strip! LOL I was quite happy just enjoying Satchel and Bucky's expressions in their drawings and getting a chuckle every day.
Really though thanks for posting it. I missed it today.

with Satchel's outing. I was always trying to figure it out. I kind of started to get that Bucky was a Repug sniper...but didn't always get Satchel and Rob and the story lines went off in all kinds of directions. Like when Bucky's friends from Great Britain arrived...the dude who spoke Shakespeare that I didn't get what that was about.
I think Darby Conley...must have blown a gasket and decided to COME OUT as a Dem in Disgust...because like many of us he need to YELLLL.....ARRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! What's with what's going on!
Thanks...for your reply about this. :hi:

2. I hope folks don't take this post the wrong way....I've just been following this series for years |

and think it's interesting that Darby Conley has finally come out and admitted he's a Democrat. And Satchel, his dog, is too. That Satchel is in a real funk kind of struck home with me. I think Conley is getting what many of us feel by portraying Satchel as completely zoned out from all the bad news..Libby Pardon, Dems Caving on FISA and Gonzo STILL THERE... With Bucky the Repug going around and laughing and carrying on to try to prod Satchel the Dog Dem and his owner...it makes some subtle points.
WHEN WILL THE REPUGS UNDERSTAND...it's about ALL OF US and that BEATING DEMS TO DEATH just isn't going to keep this shit hitting the fan on THEIR HEADS!
