Do you frequent other boards that have a GOP town crier?

Is it just me, or do you notice that at other message boards (Normally non-political boards with perhaps one "Talk about anything" forum) you see one person who once a week will post some right wing meme out of left field, like "Obama is a radical Muslim" or the latest one about an imaginary speech George W Bush should give where he resigns and calls America idiots on the way out for not supporting him and the war on terra?

How do you generally handle such stupidity? Full guns ablazing like if a freeper showed up here, or just kind of snark your way through it?

1. I frequent at least one board that contains *several* freeper criers...

I usually just ignore their calls of how the Democrats want to hand America over to terrorists, and how Global Warming isn't real, the economy's doing great, the Iraq War has been nothing but a success, and George Dumbya Bush is the greatest American president ever.

They usually just bleat their overused Reichwing talking points and can be easily beaten by using simple logic and facts.

(And yes, this takes place on the off-topic section of a non-political forum.)

2. i belong to one other board that is totally non political and every now and then some fool

will post some rw garbage and generally everyone jumps his shit and then the mods send him a message.

3. Often, the boards I frequent have rules against political discussions.

So, the "town whiner" throws political spit balls as metaphors for whatever the topic is. One really can't respond unless one wants to be a rule breaker like the Puke. Just more examples of how Shrub Suckers ignore the rules.
