"The Reagan Diaries".. has ANYONE of influence ever asked?
WHY have we not yet seen the OFFICIAL papers of this man? and why on earth do we need his DIARY, before we even know what really happened?

Shame on everyone who falls for all this myth-building, in the total absence anything even remotely factual.

I would like to see a law preventing "memoirs, diaries and other musings" UNTIL their official papers have been vetted..:grr:

1. reagan has been deified -- and for the worst reason in the world --

the opposition party allowed themselves to be silenced by reagan.

now it's about undoing the damage after the fact.

2. and after 27 years of hero-worship, based on fable,
there will be NO undoing.. As the truth (if any damaging papers are even left) comes out, it will be protrayed as being mean to a nice guy, who loved us all:puke:

4. to some extent i hope you're wrong -- but i fear you aren't.
reagan is STILL the corner stone by which we engage in politics.

and he represents an unravleing of telling historical truth.

that's not a pleasant combination to contemplate.

i am grateful that busco was less than competant at their approach to governing.

3. Maybe
it's because somewhere he comments on the Bush circle, even on the assassination attempt in terms reminiscent of words we never heard from FDR about Prescott Bush.
