Disgusting Romney: Drops pork chop on ground outside, puts back on grill citing 5 second rule |
|
:puke: FYI, 5 Second Rule--if ever applicable--is only relevant when it comes to dropping something on a CLEAN, HOUSEHOLD FLOOR. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/2007/08/10/romney.pork.chop.drop.cnn

3. There are plenty of things to criticize/mock Romney about, but this doesn't seem like one to me.... |
|
... He put it back on *the grill*. Grills are *hot*. Heat *kills* bacteria. As long as he brushed of the physical hunks of dirt or whatever, it'd be fine.

The yummier the food, the longer it can stay on the floor or ground and still be eaten. :9

6. As long as it was his porkchop |
|
I don't care!
Of course he probably gave it to someone else.
Kind of like his sons. The war is okay if they don't have to go.
The porkchop is okay as long as he doesn't have to eat it.

7. Ann Romney kept saying, "Leave it--that one's for the dogs", but he just wouldn't listen... |
|
Then somebody else yelled out "I hope you don't do that at home!" Gross! But I like Ann Romney. Can't stand Mittens and his cheesy game-show-host self, but Ann always strikes me as a decent lady--so far.

I wouldn't do it but a lot of people do.
BTW, I don't think that Mitt really is a regular guy. He strikes me as being as phony as they come.

18. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was a skit. |
|
Not that tinfoil hattish either - one of his PR guys could've said, "Hey, Mittens, you're not really looking like a genuine man of the people here. What say you accidentally on purpose drop a hunk of meat on the ground at that cookout and then eat it anyway - show 'em how normal and tough you are."

Because for some reason he was referencing the rule before the chop even dropped. Uggh... Either way, maybe it's my age showing, but I'm not going to eat something that fell on the ground (possibly on top of dog feces or dead bugs). I don't care how well it's grilled afterwards.

13. Cooking food and then eating it after it's touched the ground is much more |

Sanitary than eating it directly from a kitchen floor, regardless of how clean that floor is.

Did HE eat it, or was it passed on to someone else?
If he ate it, I am amused.
If someone else ate it, then ew.

Unless it dropped onto a pile of dog crap or some such, I'd do the same thing.

if he had thrown away that perfectly good chop cause it fell on the ground for 5 seconds! Experts did a study on this and said 5 seconds is fine, in-fact stuff can land longer than that and be OK. :9  B-)
