Leaders Shouldn't Separate Faith and Politics, Catholic Governor Jeb Bush States

By Elizabeth O'Brien

ATLANTA, Georgia, August 9, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Republican governor of Florida, Jeb Bush, brother of President George Bush, described his "faith journey" to audiences at a Catholic conference this summer, emphasizing that faith and politics should not be separated.

----

He also stated, "Jesus was my best political advisor."

Golly gee, he sounds like dumbya. God talks to chimpy, Jesus talks to Jeb.

4. I just pray that his brother's fuck ups will be enough to extinguish the Bush political dynasty.
Although, I know it won't.

9. Jesus instructed Jeb to sign on to PNAC.
Jesus also told Jeb that vegetative people are going to wake up and dance around with enough prayer for them.

10. It's things like this...
...that really make me stop and consider the overwhelming wisdom of our Founding Fathers.

They were far from perfect but can you just imagine the progress that could be made if we had such a group of thinkers with us today? Not that they agreed on everything (they didn't) but the vision of the ones who carried the day...man, we could use that now.

We have to find a way to restore the Constitution they bequeathed to us (along with the expansion of freedoms it provided for over the years).

12. Get rid of lobbyists, pork, earmarks, get back to basics. Sadly, I don't think it
will ever happen. It's obvious to me people are too 'invested' in this system to the detriment of us all.

13. I agree...we have institutionalized all of the things...
...the Founder's dreaded and considered fatal to a democratic Republic...I think they would have harsh words for us...
