So are mc cain, giuliani & thompson TOO GOOD for Iowa repubs? |
|
They skipped the Iowa straw poll, even though they were on the ballot, (not sure about 'Hollywood fred' thompson), neither did well of course, but why shouldn't Iowa repubs be highly vaporish about the guys who wouldn't even bother to set foot in the fine state of Iowa. All those other guys showed up and lied quite effectively, is this to be taken as an insult?

2. Romney's been leading in Iowa anyway--why pay money and jump through |

the straw-poll carnival hoops to end up with second, third, fourth or worse place? It could only hurt them. They did the right thing, strategically. Look at the headlines today--Mittens won. That would have been the headline no matter what.
