Libertarians on Nova M Enraged Saying that Diebold Machines Stole Iowa Poll from Ron Paul
I stream from Nova M/ KPHX phoenix because I get
not only Hartmann and Randi but also Mike Malloy

But on weekends they let everyone have their say

So they have this Libertarian program on on Sundays at Noon Central
"Ernie Hollingsworth's Defend your Freedom" or something another

So they're all up in arms saying that Ron Paul was leading at first tally
and then machines started screwing up and so they started pushing for a hand count
and the poll workers said "No, they've GOT to go through the machine"
and when they did Paul was suddenly at 5th place.

These guys are interesting to listen to
They think the only two candidates worth a shit are
Paul and Kucinich
They want them to share a ticket

And all of the usual stuff about the North American Union
They think there is a revolution coming soon.

As someone who depends on Social Security for my only income
I could never vote with them

But they're interesting to listen to

1. Remember the Libertarian candidate joined the Greens in OH.
I like listening to the Libertarians, too, because they think so differently than I do. :hi:

2. I'm really HAPPY to hear that! I hope create all kind of hate &
discontent with the Pubs who secured the machines! Maybe THEN all the States will join Ca. in decertification of all the damn electroninc voting machines!

3. That would be an odd, likely volatile mix -- Kucinich and
Ron Paul.

I like the Kucinich part pretty well indeed but not the Ron Paul part.

For all I know, this most recent Diebold claim is justified, but then again, I don't know, and that's the point. There may have been a deliberate "undercount" regarding Paul's strength in Iowa's straw poll, but if that's so, he can have his truer percentage of support register in January in the caucuses. If he has more support it will come out in those caucuses.

Libertarians are more interesting than they are lovable.

I'm stickin' with my Dems.

4. Several of us here had that EXACT thought when the vote-counting "difficulties" were reported.
I hadn't even heard that Paul was leading before the "problems"
arose, until now.

It was just the safest assumption.

Paul's views are the most popular among Repubs +
Repubs cheat with rigged machines =
Paul was cheated out of a victory.

It ain't rocket science.

5. Paul is good on the war, bad on almost everything else
He's got a real problem with black people, for instance.

That having been said, I hope he stays in the race and makes the neocons' heads explode.

6. If republicans are willing
to steal votes from Democrats, how long can it be before they steal votes from eachother?

7. Everyone who is born here is a natural citizen and that needs to be revisited
http://www.politico.com/rogersimon/index_Page2.html

and other "liberal" values...excerpts of remarks made by Rep. Paul at yesterday's GOP straw polling in Ames, Iowa:

“We must preserve all life and that includes the unborn as well,” he began. “As an ob/gyn doctor and one who has studied history and politics, I know that life begins at conception. There is no reason in this world that this government can’t protect life rather than take life by financing abortion and that has to stop. Roe v. Wade must be reversed.”

“I think 9/11 could have been prevented if we had had a lot more respect for the Second Amendment,” he said. “Protecting passengers had been diverted to a centralized government and airlines were prevented from using guns to protect passengers.”

Also, Paul said: “We are weak on immigration and we should reassess that. Everyone who is born here is a natural citizen and that needs to be revisited. The states are mandated to provide free education and free medical care and that is wrong.”
