Hey Tucker Carlson - I have a bag of used cat litter worth more than you
Tucker - perhaps you should loosen up that bow-tie - it's cutting off the circulation to your brain. When you discriminate against another person, especially law abiding consenting adults, then you automatically make yourself worth less than the person you are discriminating against. That's just my two cents

Tucker Carlson concerned gays 'worth more' than he is David Edwards and Muriel Kane
Published: Friday August 10, 2007

Tucker Carlson criticized Neil Giuliano, president of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, on Thursday, saying, "You all are doing a pretty lousy job of explaining why gay marriage is a good idea. Your arguments are all revolving around the question of rights. ... Most people hear the word 'rights' and they turn off. That's a 1960's argument and they're sick of it."

Carlson then began criticizing the pending hate crimes bill, telling Giuliano, "If under this bill, if you're attacked for being gay, the person who attacks you is punished more severely than the person who attacks me. ... Maybe I'm attacked by someone for being straight. Why are you worth more as a citizen than I am?"

"People are singled out all the time for categories that aren't covered by this law," Carlson continued, "but they don't have effective lobby groups like you do. ... The bottom line is -- no offense or anything -- but you're not more important than I am."

9. foredoglake: Tucker's Got a Secret...
Tucker Carlson, Republican Pun-don't on MSNBC, has made quite a fuss about the Libby case from the get-go, trashing Patrick Fitzgerald at every possible opportunity, and blathering sympathetically about Scooter Libby's kids...oh, the kids, for God's sake, the kids. Never mind that had Scooter not committed multiple felonies in the first place...well, Tucker doesn't really care about that, now does he?

But Tucker has a secret.

And unfortunately for Tucker, the secret got published on the Scooter Libby Defense Slush Fund website...and blabbed all over Washington...and Arianna found out about it.
But with all he's had to say about the case, there is one thing that Tucker Carlson has failed to mention: That his father, Richard Carlson, is on the advisory committee of the Libby Legal Defense Trust, the GOP-heavy-hitter-laden group that has so far raised $2 million.

Indeed, Richard Carlson was the Early Money Is Like Yeast of Libby defense fund-raisers, having couriered a check to Libby's home the morning he was indicted....

But while Carlson has mentioned the legal defense fund on the air and on his blog (including chiding Cheney for not donating to it), he hasn't seen fit to offer up an "in the interest of full disclosure" type disclaimer.'

10. Aren't you taking a risk with a post like that?
If someone breaks into your home and steals all your
used cat litter, well, you know who it was, and don't
say I didn't warn you.
