Poll question: Which Republican 08 presidential campaign will hire Kkkarl Rove?
Express your dismay at the inevitable below. The good news is that I'm pretty sure Rove's resignation means that Bush does not intend to stay in office post January, 2009.

3. The candidate that needs Karl's Dirty Trick machine.
Wouldn't it be a blast if Karl torpedoed McCain in Carolina _again_?

4. the one that wants to lose...
Rove is washed up per political/policy advising. Look at all of the disasterous moves jr has made since rove took over as director of policy (by completely merging policy and political operations)... Go for Privatizing SS... Use Schaivo as a big photo op and present to the religious right... Don't act too soon on Katrina and then ignore the aftermath - for years... and that was all just over the course of nine months!

What's in it for him? For most of his "career" he's worked for only one boss and when his assholiness goes back to the chicken shit ranch in Crawford for good, Rove's job is done...at least on this stage.

Rove's ideal Faux "anal-ist" material...I could see him doing the Carville tele-pundit thing, making big coin doing college lectures and be assured he's got a major book deal waiting as well. Also, he sees "the math"...he's clearing out to avoid being an issue next year...even with Repugnicans.

I think he's done operating from the front line. He may actually retire, but I think it's more likey he'll step back into the shadows (where he works best).

that Huckabee was the appointed one. For the life of me, I can't remember where I read that.

12. He's a jovial, likeable wingnut.
A fundie nutcase you'd like to have a beer with, or something. He's definitely religious-right approved, NRA approved and NASCAR dad approved--and the press, for whatever reason, love him. He's a slightly smarter version of the Chimperor. So you may be on to something.

11. If any of them do, Mitt or Giuliani....
Edited on Mon Aug-13-07 08:45 AM by Wetzelbill
I voted for Giuliani. He's more of a dirty lowdown vengeful rat than Mitt. Mitt is shameless, but he doesn't strike me as a being as awful as Rudy. Karl and Rudy would fit together, they are both weak, sad pathetic little people who have to take cheapshots at others because they could never face somebody straight up on an even playing field.
