WSJ: Rove says he almost decided not to join the White House after the 2000 election

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2007/08/13/more-from-rove-interview/

In OpinionJournal.com’s daily Political Diary email, Paul Gigot adds some additional notes from his interview with Karl Rove. Some key points:

Rove says he almost decided not to join the White House after the 2000 election. Rove says then-Gov. Bush told him he had observed his father’s administration and assured Rove he wouldn’t tolerate that sort of thing.

:wtf:

"wouldn’t tolerate that sort of thing" my ASS. He outed a CIA agent for gawd's sake.

4. I Believe That Quote Was Supposed to be from Bush
I wouldn't doubt he said it. God knows what he was thinking.

Like Hitler said in his final days: "Thank God I have never persecuted my enemies."

5. And Karl's crap goes down the memory hole
papered over with warm human interest pieces about his loving family from the paper of record.
