Why did Anderson Cooper sell out?
He's talking about Imus instead of, oh, let me think, troops dying, attacks in Iraq, how wrongly that's going, all the political stuff going on or the speculation, but :wtf:

There were a bunch of Dems who went to NO today to ATTRACT ATTENTION; there's a story, Anderson.

2. Sell out?
What are you talking about, sell out? Anderson Cooper didn't have to sell anything. He's Gloria Vanderbilt's son. He's from the Cooper family, and the Vanderbilts. He's a member of one of the richest family's ever in the history of the planet. He didn't sell anything to be in that position.

He's a distraction, and a clown. He's there for entertainment. He's there to mind the family fortune.

4. Thanks for that lil lesson, but I knew all that. He did act like he
actually was a reporter during Katrina, but not so much since. Then again, prior to being hired by CNN, he was a host on one of those reality shows. I just wish, when there's something to talk about, he would.

10. He had me fooled, looking teary and compassionate…
We were in Bay St. Louis, MS. My daughter was at the Hwy 90 bridge ruins to use a phone, any phone by the grace of a stranger, because that was the only place in town to catch a cell phone connection. She saw his News RV, stood right by Anderson, begged for a phone, but she was disgusted because he paid no attention to the little people. It’s a small town and the first days we were all wandering the streets for news, water, a phone connection. It’s not like there were a thousand people clamoring for attention…. I do give him credit because he was one of less than a handful of people who even showed America the Katrina tragedy in Mississippi. But was it all for a “story”…? From some blogs I’ve read lately, south coast Mississippi is reconnecting, waking up, and they are mad. The story is not over.

7. yes, yes, yes
It amazes me that liberals think that AC is "one of us". Far from it. Corporate media whore that comes "packaged" a little differently, that's all.

6. The Paris Hilton of cable news? The only way he could sell out is if he
told the truth and it reflected badly on the other members of the aristocracy.

9. NOLA is "old news"
Seriously it isn't, its still a tragedy, it needs to be fixed. But with the all the attention paid to it over the last 2 years, I'm surprised Dem leaders picked this as something to get publicity for. As weak and unknown as they are, they won't be able to draw much attention to it.

Why didn't they go to Minneapolis?
