I wish we could do this all the time. It reminds me of a thing I tried to teach, "my 30 second me" commercial to students that needed to pitch themselves in some way -- for a scholarship or a job or an internship.

But, I really like that strip across my small screen of other DUers' thoughts and wishes. I wish we could do this all the time.

5. I like it, too. I was able to dedicate to my mom - my conservative mom, who joined the

peace movement during the Vietnam war when my brother deployed. She joined up with the AnotherMother4Peace group of moms. She would write letters, make phone calls, etc. Bless her heart. She has been gone for about 10 years now.

8. This is the thing: the admins have put the power to get our message out

into our hands. Whether we honor our elders or appreciate our leaders or bring up a need. It's subversive as hell because we can all weigh in.
