I am raiding my granddaughters toybox to take her most prized possessions--her collection of Polly Pockets.
Still don't know how I am going to explain to her WHY they are gone...but sure enough, will be a lot of tears tomorrow.:(
Wonder how they plan on compensating for THAT?

11. All children are natural artists and engineers....
but then that creativity gets ruined/stifled when we teach them to 'grow up'.

There are a whole lotta people out there who's bodies have 'grown up', but their emotional, intellectual level hasn't....it hasn't even TRIED.....of those folks, I dunno what to say, but I'm not very sympathetic.

I'll close with a saying I've heard:

"Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age shows up all by itself"

Peace,
M_Y_H

2. coming soon
home testing kits for your purchases... to be followed by a home testing kit to test the home testing kits

brings up the question of who/what can you trust -

can't trust the government
can't trust corporations
can't trust electronic voting machines
can't trust the MSM
can't trust food
can't trust toiletries
can't trust toys

so let's deregulate even more stuff, let's just shred all the laws, rules, regulations, guidelines

the bushies: destroying America faster than the terrorists

7. I am so irritated with China right now.
I had to throw out a giant bag of puppy food.

They can't even treat their farm-raised seafood humanely. Their farm-raised catfish, shrimp, and eel, have to exist in cesspools. http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/NEWS/2007/NEW01660.html

10. thrown out peanut butter?
I took mine back to Wal-mart and got credit. I tried making cookies with it, since the baking should have killed the salmonella, just like it does with the eggs, but the cookies were making me sick, so they had to be tossed.

12. Yeah I threw it out
My time is worth more than the $2 I would have gotten back to stand in line returning it and it would have cost me at least that much to drive to the store (we live in a rural area).
However, the toys that are affected, we are talking about over $150. I have already asked for a shipping return label so that I can be reimbursed for that. That is worth the time and gas to be recompensated.
