Colin Powell puts money with McCain
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell has time for any presidential candidate who wants to chat about foreign policy. He has money, though, only for John McCain.

Powell has shared his expertise in meetings with Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Rudy Giuliani, his spokeswoman, Peggy Cifrino, said Tuesday. But when it comes to sharing his money, Powell chose McCain, the Republican senator from Arizona. Powell's $2,300 contribution last week gave a bit of needed cachet to McCain's struggling campaign.

LMAO

1. A case of the disgraced giving cash to the delusional.
This feels like kind of a country club transaction. Not nearly enough to buoy McCain's sinking fortunes.

3. Sigh.
Proving himself totally out of touch again. No way will anyone ever again trouble him about running for President himself.

4. So much wrong with this. $2,300 gave weathervane cachet?
 And wasn't there a story last week floating the idea that Powell could muck up the works when Petraeus gives his report?

It seems Colin is happy with the way Iraq is going if he's backing this bad boy.

5. McCain does not need "cachet," he needs C A S H
Moola. Greenbacks. And lots of it. If Colin Powell held a fundraiser for McCain that raised millions, now THAT would be "cash-ay!" But, c'mon, Colin - $2,300 to a dying campaign? That's not even a pity contribution - it almost reads like an insult.

6. How many politicians were destroyed because of Bush?
Think about the people who aligned themselves with Bush and how that fateful decision destroyed their future political hopes and dreams.

Colin Powell
John McCain
Christine Todd Whitman
Macaca Man - Sen. Allen?
Joe Lieberman (yes, he will be gone after this term)

There are many more.

Bush is toxic.
