A Fish Story (re *ush)

Got this email from my ex-husband:

When I was out fishing Sunday in the boat, I was South of the harbor entrance to Wells and just casting about and enjoying not being on land; in traffic. I decided to go back and heading back saw the black boats of the escorts for Prez. I saw Bush Srs. boat and they were heading away from the coast just off the harbor entrance. A boat peeled off and came my way and acted as a "shield" between me and Prez. I knew I'd never be able to go to them, but thought they may come to me. I got just off the jetties and shut down engine and started casting about. Sure enough, thet came my way and passed approx 25' from me. Traded greetings, fish info, etc with Bush Sr, Bush Jr and Jeb Bush. The Secret Service boat got to within 5' of me and greetings exchanged also. Everyone smiling and my comment of "I'd heard the Prez wanted to take up ice fishing" drew some laughs from the people in boat. It was kind of neat to be that close and actually talk to them. Later I found out that no one gets that close to Prez so I assume since I'd sort of struck a "Huck Finn" pose, I was "small-talk worthy".

I agree, he's a jerk, but that morning he was just another guy in a boat.

story... I take it your ex-husband was quite taken by the chance meeting. Try as I might to be polite, I can not imagine why.
