Democrats only chance to end the war is to withdraw funding.
we know what petreaus is going to say...we know what the WH & cheney want....

we know there is no 'negotiating' with this cabal

bu$h* will NEVER end this war...,.Never. he has escalated it by 30.000 some troops this year alone under the guise of the surge.

STOP THE WAR NOW!!!!!!

6. I agree that Bush will not stop the war, but will de-funding work?
Consider Bush's personality: he is utterly rigid and when need be, confrontational. In other words, if you confront him, he will come back on you even harder (something Democrats don't seem to understand). I can imagine a scenario where some kind of de-funding is advanced and Bush, in response, strips funding from other government programs (in and out of the military) in order to: (1) advance his steel-hard ideology; and (2) show his enemies that he can beat them down.

If anyone wants to try to stop the war, impeach him or, preferably, Cheney.

7. Congress holds the purse strings....it's their only trump card.
although I would love to see them impeached, tens of thousands would die before that ever happened....defund now.
