Despite what you're seeing on TV, soldiers are still dying in Iraq

Believe it or not, more American soldiers have lost their lives in Iraq. I know you wouldn't know, given that CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC devoted perhaps 2 minutes of their 24 hour news cycles to tell you about it, but it's true.

34 have died in the month of August so far. Why did I have to type "soldiers killed" in Google News in order to know that? Why do I have to actively seek out this news on a whim?
