Congressman Ed Towns Signs Onto H Res 333
Submitted by davidswanson on Wed, 2007-08-15 22:01. Congress | Impeachment

Kim Hughes reports:

Just returned from a meeting with Ed Towns in Brooklyn, who agreed during the meeting to sign on to H Res 333. Made the call in front of us! The meeting was arranged my Mimi Evans of Military Families Speak Out. Mimi had to be away on business so asked us to represent her. Our group consisted of The Rev. Dave Dyson of Lafayette Ave. Presby Church, the inimitable Dave Robinson (who was also instrumental in our meeting with Yvette Clarke when she signed H Res 333), and two members of Dyson's church. More later, but wanted to report another small victory from the field!

That makes 20 Congress Members for impeaching Cheney and 28 for Gonzales.
