What is the deal with the torture policy? |
|
Before 9/11 Bush did nothing despite several warnings from other state leaders, his Cabinet couldn't be bothered to hold meetings on terrorism despite a system blinking red, the CIA and FBI couldn't pick up a phone and put known al Qaeda operatives on the FAA no fly list, etc.
There was no accountability for government officials who were derelict in their duty. Instead, the remedy was to employ torture? WTF?

1. Well, I feel that I would strongly like to apply torture. |

To every card-carrying member of BushCo. I'm sure they have many interesting things to say. Or scream. Whatever.

2. Incompetence creates failure. |
|
Failure creates frustration and anger. Frustration and anger are relieved by taking them out on a convenient scapegoat. Hence, somebody or other should be tortured.
That is the deal. Is it clear?
