Hey, So I'm thinking about going to Denver, but do you have to be a delegate to get inside the convention site or are there tickets or something else you can obtain to get in?
I reeaally want to go, but i'm not a delegate, elected official, or former president.

Three ways to get in.
One would be to be elected a delegate representing a certain candidate...and depending on how your state party rules, if your candidate wins either your district or gets a certain number of delegates, that could punch your ticket.
Route two is for "regular party members"...usually reserved for the elected officials and other party big wigs.
Route three is by attempting to get press credentials....I've had several friends do it this way. I'm not sure the policy involving blogs, but I wouldn't be surprised if the DNC will offer access to someone with a farily well-known blog. Or, maybe your local newspaper may be interested in sponsoring you...as their reporter (sans pay).
