Should george bush's future son in law join the Army Now?
Should you write a letter to your local paper asking that question?

2. Boss, don't you think the US Army has enough problems
without adding that obvious mouth breather to the mix?

3. I Stand Corrected Sarge
But isn't it quite sad that young republicans can get out of serving our country because they are worthless sacks of shit who spend their time working on their advanced abramoff business degrees?

6. Sad, but true, Boss. Sad and true
On the other hand, we can take comfort and pride in this: On our worst day, remember? -- dragging our drunken ass back to the barracks or getting said ass chewed down to ground round for some monumental FUBAR, we were and are patriots and better people than they can ever hope to be.

Fuck 'em.

Come on Chief, I'll stand you a round at the Club.

9. Roger that Teammate (I hereby proclaim you honorary Shipmate)
I remember when I was a cocky young Seaman and missed a duty section muster (1974 - NWC China Lake), a big ole First Class (E-6) got in my face and chewed my ass mercilessly; I'm still not over it. He said you ever late for a duty section muster I'm in charge of, there won't be an ass chewing, you'll see the Man and it'll be in writing. I remember it as if it were yesterday and I never, ever missed a muster again. Senior Enlisted Leadership - PRICELESS. Something young republicans could not possibly relate to.

I got the first three rounds.

14. I'm honored, Chief
(You'll have to take me thru the protocols and lingo. The Navy having its own subset of the English language)

I didn't even wait for first duty base. I got my TI's dental impression in my hindquarters by Week Two. (Thought balloon: "Wow. She can make her eyebrows come together and grow right down her nose.)

The other one those losers will never know is the pride and, yes, love we can feel when that gang of eager young space cadets we trained up from sillivians makes their pass by the reviewing stand, pops a whiplash mass salute and comes about two feet off the ground when the band swings into "Off We Go"

As you say, priceless.

Here's my car keys. Just toss me in the flower garden.

22. You'll have to get a DICNAVAB
DICTIONARY OF NAVAL ABBREVIATIONS.

The following brings tears to eyes and tingling in the loins of Sailors around the globe:

ANCHORS AWEIGH MY BOYS,
ANCHORS AWEIGH
FAREWELL TO FOREIGN SHORES
WE SAIL AT THE BREAK OF DAY, DAY, DAY, DAY
THROUGH OUR LAST NIGHT ON SHORE
DRINK TO THE FOAM
UNTIL WE MEET ONCE MORE
HERE'S WISHING YOU A HAPPY VOYAGE HOME

Having about 50 CPO Selectees marching down the avenue on base singing that at the top of their lungs is a sight and sound to behold and cherish.

4. not a bad idea
since the man/child doesn't really have a job yet. A Bush child is going to be very expensive so he might as well learn how to work.

10. Just think of his career and his sweetheart dear
And his poor old invalid Aunt; besides he ain't no fool, he's goin' to school
and working in a dee-fense plant

Huh. Haven't sung that one in years. Maybe it's time to dust it off again.

... apparently the US Air Force are really good at doing flyovers to celebrate
over there so why should the President's family miss out on all that fun?

Why haven't the Bush daughters enlisted to fight for freedom and democracy on the front lines of Iraq?
