12. I Hate to Ruin Everyone's Fun, But Could We Please Stop Insulting Gay People?

I know it's tempting to say that any Republican who's anti-gay (which is - let's face it - ALL Republicans) is secretly in the closet, because, hey! They keep popping out every week! But could we please stop the obligatory "_______ ________ is against homosexuals, so he must be a flaming queer!" posts? I know you don't mean any harm, but the subtext of those posts is that gay = bad. You can phrase them any way you like, but truly, that's how you're perceived by the majority of the gay community.

Please stop knocking us when you knock scum like O'Reilly. To make it up to you, I promise to not open my trap about any of the juvenile, tired, gay references you're all going to make the next time some closeted Repub gets outed.
