Teen killed in carjacking

A 19-year-old man who left his vehicle running while he bought some food at a taco stand in Oak Cliff was killed early Friday after chasing the carjacker who jumped in his car.

Dallas police identified the man as Abraham Roman of Dallas.

The crime began unfolding about 12:30 a.m. in the 2900 block of West Davis Street in Dallas, when the suspect got in the victim’s vehicle and began backing up into the street. The victim ran toward his car and the suspect fired several times, killing him, police said.

1. some people only have liability
especially on older vehicles that are paid off. Maybe that was the case here. No car, no job, no home, no life. Well, that was probably what he was thinking when he made this truly fatal mistake. Sad.

3. No, I'm just saying it's not worth chasing after them.

People react when something like that happens sometimes they take chances they shouldn't. I blame the person who stole the man's car and shot him.
