Dane County (WI) Board of Supervisors votes to Impeach Bush & Cheney
The Dane County (WI) board of Supervisors (Dane Co. includes Madison, WI--but also smaller towns and cities like Sun Prarie, Middleton, Verona,ect) voted early this morning after a marathon 7-hour session to support a resolution calling for the impeachment of President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. Dane County becomes the second county government to call for the impeachment of the president and vice president (after Tompkins County, New York). The vote was 24 in favor, 3 against, 2 abstain, and 12 absent.

"People have said this is none of our business," said John Hendricks, "but as board members we swore an oath to defend the Constitution against these knds of attacks."
