Air Force turns tables on rape accuser

Cassandra Hernandez faces indecency charges after declining to testify against one of three fellow airmen she said assaulted her.

POPE AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- In the early-morning hours of May 13, 2006, after a night of partying with fellow airmen who were mixing a potent cocktail called the Incredible Hulk, Airman 1st Class Cassandra Hernandez told authorities that three of them had raped her.

One of the men was charged. After being questioned twice by the airman's military lawyer, Hernandez said, she felt "enormous stress" and decided not to testify.

Military file charges AGAINST rape victim? My mouth is still agape. I have followed, for years, the sexual predatory and intimidating environment at the Air Force academy, surrounding towns, Congressional testimony, firings of commanders, and charges of cover-up by Air Force leadership.

As a child, I grew up reading Superman comics, the words that best express what I am thinking right now is, “bizarro world”. When I recover, I may have more to say.

big guy called 'bear.' when they said Well maybe it was consensual, her defense was that she was gay. sot the army tried to give a dishonorable discharge to her and her gf. they did bust the sarge down in rank tho.
