Clergy to be the go between during any Martial Law declaration.
Edited on Fri Aug-17-07 10:19 PM by sarcasmo
snip> Dr.Durell Tuberville serves as chaplain for the Shreveport Fire Department and the Caddo Sheriff's Office. Tuberville said of the clergy team's mission, "the primary thing that we say to anybody is, 'let's cooperate and get this thing over with and then we'll settle the differences once the crisis is over.'"

snip> Such clergy response teams would walk a tight-rope during martial law between the demands of the government on the one side, versus the wishes of the public on the other. "In a lot of cases, these clergy would already be known in the neighborhoods in which they're helping to diffuse that situation," assured Sandy Davis. He serves as the director of the Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.

The sheep will listen to their clergy and follow them to the inoculation centers, BAH, BAH, BAH. Orwell had nothing on this nightmare.

1. I really don't see how some incense slinging shamen is
going to argue with my Remington 870. I'll take 12ga. 00 buck over holy water anyday when it comes to protecting my country from a Bush dictatorship.

4. Oh crap! Now you're gonna make me haul out my bible.
So, why not save us the trouble and just quote whatever version of the interpretation of the collected work of various scholars the council of Nicea and the council of Trent deemed appropriate to pass on to us ignorant masses that were further altered by the few people who were able to read, write and translate the writings of folks who were attempting to describe events that happened 400 years before their time without the benefit of a literate public, no e-mail and no videotape.

And they ask why I am an atheist.

5. I am an Atheist as well. The sheep will be herded by the clergy thanks to their own beliefs.

More power to 'em.

To quote John F Kennedy:

"Those who make peaceful change impossible, make violent change inevitable."
