The wingnuts are certain that we are in mortal danger from someone or something (but not global warming). They just don't all agree on exactly where this overwhelming threat to our society is coming from (but it has nothing to do with Bush/Cheney/Gonzales spitting on our Constitution).

They MUST have something to fear. They MUST have someone to hate.

The most common wacko talking point these days is "Only we can see the imminent, terrible danger facing us that requires immediate suspension of the Constitution and the dismantling of America". Isn't this called paranoia?
