those such as ourselves. Basically like Reagon's trickle down theory. It is their arguement that as long as they are strong they will be able to help us with jobs, etc., so we can live well too.

driving thru the lower part of DE. You could see acres and acres of brown, totally burnt corn and soybean fields, lawns are burnt brown. Some farms had a "for sale" sign - either for the whole farm or for a portion of land out in front. Directly across the road from one such field, they had cleared some land and were building small mcmansions. Sprinklers were going everwhere inorder to keep their grass and sod growing. Yet across the road, farmers crops weren't being watered. We did see a few farmers that were able to water a section of their field, so at least would have some harvest. Small depressed farming and fishing towns with no other place to work - now, who exactly is gonna buy a mcmansion there? I think they need to work on building up some businesses for these people. It made me very sad.

If she has ever thought that the Stock Market is a "level playing field". Government intervention probably worked to their advantage yesterday, but it can just as easily work against them.
