If everyone is so against pollution because it
causes global warming, where is the outcry about the war? All that
incredible black smoke from things blowing up and burning can't be good, but I've not heard one disparaging remark about the damage to the environment the war is causing. If for no other reason, environmental damage should be a good enough one to stop the war.

War is Patriotic! We don't talk about the destruction to the environment it causes.

Also, I get peeved about the global warming crowd. You're so concerned about CO2, but how about mercury, arsenic, carbon monoxide, sulfur, radioactive waste and all the other byproducts of our industries?

3. But.......there is no discussion on the t.v.
or in other media about the destruction to the environment.

4. Well, everyday our weatherman has to tell us the pollution particle count so we
will know if it is safe to go outside and breathe the air. If that doesn't send people into the streets nothing will.

5. There is no discussion about the fact that
The US army is the largest single polluter in the entire world, either.

Along with the carbon dioxide and the usual suspects; mercury, lead, all those things, add depleted uranium, agent orange, cluster bomblets, land mines, unexploded ordnance of all kinds, and munitions and so on dumped in the sea to decay.
