Bush warns Iraq could become new Vietnam
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=275862

U.S President George W. Bush has warned that a lack of patience, leading to hasty withdrawal from Iraq, would trigger a bloodbath like the one after the U.S retreat from Vietnam.

Mr Bush said the Vietnam War had taught the need for U.S patience in Iraq.

He warned that in Iraq there was the added danger that a U.S withdrawal would signal victory for al-Qaeda, emboldening its leaders and drawing in new recruits.

Well he is acknowledging that like Vietnam we may have to leave in helicoptors

He truly has started to get it except he thinks we pulled out of Vietnam to early

He's certifiably nuts

4. he's right-- Iraq will be just like Vietnam...
...if we stay there for another eight years and feed another 50,000 Americans and million or so Iraqis into the meat grinder we've created there. Hell, we might even need to build another wall on the Mall just to commemorate our boundless stupidity. It'll be just like Vietnam, maybe even worse.
