1. Click on kare11 link
It shows you Bush had to see the protesters. There weren't dump trucks or buses put in place to block his view. Well done protesters !!!!!

2. Now you can see where you will not buy hearing aids from. Spread the word.

4. The Host also has a home in Texas... go figure!
a teammate's spouse used to work for Bill Austin. Said he has a huge house in TX. Wonder if he goes down there so he doesn't have to pay MN taxes.

5. Letter to the Editor from Vet who attended protest
This letter was printed in today's Strib without being edited. Congratulations, Larry! And thanks to you and your bride for being there and playing such beautiful and somber renditions of TAPS.

I stood today with the group of people who weren't invited to the Norm Coleman $1000 entry fund-raiser, and who for sure didn't have $10,000 to drop for a photo op with the President. I greatly appreciated the large number of passing cars who honked or gave "thumbs up" in appreciation of the effort. My part, as a former army medic, and bugler, was to occasionally fill the air with TAPS, because I believe that every time large contributions go to continue the policies we're under, too many more people die or are injured thru violence or some kind of neglect.

I personally have trouble with the thought of paying $10,000 to be photographed with any President. If I had it, I'd help 2-3 families get adequate health insurance for a year and be photographed with them. These kind of photo ops abound, and I'm
imagining a world where we as a culture seek them out and find the ways to invest the $10,000 and take these pictures of people in need stepping up because someone who could stepped forward.
