Statement of Senator Clinton on Bush Administration Support for Modernizing the Federal Housing Administration

Washington, DC - "It is encouraging that the Administration is finally willing to recognize at least some of the distress in the housing market and to discuss specific steps to help homeowners. I have advocated modernizing the Federal Housing Administration for well over a year. I am pleased that the proposals the Administration is considering are in my legislation, the 21st Century Housing Act. It is clear that ensuring a strong FHA that can provide safe and stable mortgages to more homebuyers and can help responsible homeowners refinance unworkable mortgages is critical for addressing the problems in the housing market."

One thing I can say about HRC is that she does update her website almost daily with new statements and such, and I check almost every dem senator each day. She does a damn fine job of communicating in this regards.

I still like Dennis better :)

1. Modernizing in Bushspeak means kill the program and bury it deep
Watch out FHA, Bush is coming to cut your budget.

2. But what makes the other supporters of other candidates is this
She's smarter, she can handle situations, she's smarter, she knows what she talking about and she SMARTER.

AND THE OTHER CANDIDATES ARE DOING ANOTHER KIND OF SMARTING. And they have to get their supporters to tear her down. I think it is ignorant and un DEMOCRATIC to constantly tear down other dem candidates.

The rest of the team may not be as smart and able to solve problems like Hillary but the would make good candidates. It is a shame that we have so damn many this time, as compared to previous years. BUT anybody that wins I will support, I will campaign and volunteer to help. I don't want another republican president for a hell of a long time.
