Our top military brass have spoken out publicly stating we will run out of troops and be unable to sustain present operations by early spring. This has not happened before in recent history.

What does that tell you?

Combine that with the 'war czar' stating that we need to consider a draft, and that it has always been on the table.

Unless there are 'good senators and congressmen' out and about telling the 'good news' about progress in Iraq, there won't be any chance the public will support a draft. They are doing the job the WH assigned them.
