Atlanta considers banning baggy pants
ATLANTA - Baggy pants that show boxer shorts or thongs would be illegal under a proposed amendment to Atlanta's indecency laws.

The amendment, sponsored by city councilman C.T. Martin, states that sagging pants are an "epidemic" that is becoming a "major concern" around the country.

"Little children see it and want to adopt it, thinking it's the in thing," Martin said Wednesday. "I don't want young people thinking that half-dressing is the way to go. I want them to think about their future."

When I was in the air force there was these strict hair regulations. For one, women could not wear their hair beyond the collar which would mean hair would just top the shoulders. Back then corn rows were the popular style for black women and next thing you know they were forbidden to wear their hair that way. Well, they all got together on base and told the big brass how it was simply a neat way to wear their hair, etc., so in the end they were allowed the style and the USA was not invaded by Russia...our enemy at the time.

3. Thank God, Finally
I can only hope my legislature drops everything to take up this incredibly vital initiative. The horror I feel at just walking down the street will be alleviated.

11. By the time small children get to be off an age
to decide what they're going to wear, the fad will have vanished.

A tempest in a teapot.

I, personally, think it looks stupid.
