How quickly will Nancy and Harry cave in to the White House on Iraq?

After hearing Carl Levin and several congresscritters, I wonder why we even bothered voting last November. Somehow our message on Iraq was translated into supporting the PResident and his infantile surge. Let's call it was it is - a massive increase in occupation forces.

We have been here too often before. WE all feel it in our bones. We know just how timidly and cravenly Harry and Nancy will act. The only question is when.

If all of this was just to put another Saddam in so that we could have permanent bases and control of the oil, why are the Dems not screaming at the top of their lungs and dragging these people to the judiciary committee in chains???

Rather than complicity, they need to drag their skeletons out of the closet and show them to the world. Their secrets can't be any worse than the diaper babies and the underage page hunters on their worst days...

By the way, they should be dragging their GOP "co-workers" into the light as well if they are suffering threats of disclosure. I'm fairly sure Bush is spending his nights with the likes of Jeff Ganon, since Pickles is staying elsewhere. I'm sure his base would so approve of his "moral choices" in that regard.

The majority of Rethugs & Dems support the US Occupation of Iraq for an indefinite time frame ; that includes Sen. Clinton. . There are various reasons for this. You can speculate as to those reasons. The US Occupation will continue & the Dems will keep funding it. There will be a draw down but at least 60K US Troops & 140K Mercs will remain in Iraq. US presence in Iraq will continue for decades.
