TITUSVILLE -- State Rep. Bob Allen wanted to lure an undercover Titusville police officer to a Kennedy Space Center security gate, according to new court records released today.
The new court document filed in the case is a two-page report from Titusville Assistant Police Chief John Lau, who interviewed Allen after his July 11 arrest on a solicitation of prostitution charge. That interview was recorded and has previously been released.
Police say Allen, while in a Space View Park restroom, agreed to pay the undercover officer $20 for oral sex.
According to the report, Allen said he went to the bathroom to avoid a lightning storm that was about to start. The undercover officer went into a stall next to Allen’s. Allen knocked on the officer’s stall door to ask if he was all right.
Allen told Lau he was afraid he was going to be robbed and agreed to the sex act so that he could reach the KSC security gate where a guard would be located. The nearest gate, across the Max Brewer Bridge, is several miles from the park. http://www.floridatoday.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070822/BREAKINGNEWS/70822031 *** - I'm beginning to wonder how this guy EVER became a politician if he can't lie any better than this. So now its clear. He has a fear of stocky black guys AND lightning, and it is this fear that is at the bottom (no pun intended) of his actions.
So, he wasn't at the park "just looking around" as he first stated right after his arrest.
Nor was he there to "look over the place for a possible event" as his lawyer stated after he bailed him out.
Apparently the trauma of this event has diminished enough to the point where "the facts" have now risen to the top of his consciousness. Now we know the truth: "it was the weather that started it all." And as for the officer's penis.... well he was looking for a lightning rod to hold onto, and he just made a mistake. Clearly anyone could have done the same thing.
But as I see it, this fear of lightning still creates a serious political problem for him. I mean this is Florida, right? They just about ALWAYS have lightning and storms going on somewhere. So what kind of wussy legislative representative would the people in his district have, if he's afraid to go to the legislature to vote on important issues like giving life sentences to sexual perverts, just because of his being "afeared of a little lightning?"
Not to mention the fact that the "born-again" religiously inclined such as he, should have NO fear of God's lightning. Because they know that God only uses the weather to punish the gays.
Oh. Wait.....
