Since Warner has switched to withdrawal, it is
important to let our own senators and representatives know that this debacle in the desert is up. There is no compromising with the monkey-in-chief. He just gets monkey shit all over everyone else. Since compromising with the little chimp, Congress' approval ratings have plummeted while his have edged slightly up. I think that their reward was justified. Now, it is time to do the people's will. End this occupation.

1. You really needed to listen to Bernie Ward tonight!
He was talking about Warner's announcement and he consideres it a very cowardly statement. What's 5,000 withdrawl going to do? Bernie was talking about 12,000, and he said "what about the other 150,000? Do they have to die becaue they didn't get lucky enough to be one of the 12,000?

Warner is just pushing an idea I figured Shrub was going to do all along. He'll announce he's going to begin to pull out the troops, but the number will be low and very slow. BUT it will take the wind out of the Dem position of pulling out! He'll be able to say, WE ARE!

2. The Repubs are just trying to frame/setup their planned nonwithdrawal/withdrawal
for 2008 so that it might give them maximum cover and political benefit in 2008 even though it will not result in any real change or ending of the war.

3. That's why the House needs to cut the funding.
That is the THING. The House appropriates funding. They must stop the funding of all but the expenses of withdrawal. A full withdrawal. If Warner is just picking threads, then the House needs to take the gloves off and just defund the occupation. The divided Senate can pick it all apart as long as they want, but without funds. No more 8 billion a month for a LIE that has already been exposed.

7. Semd one of those secret emails to Blackwater-"Ger your folks out!"
If the Blackwaters don't care about their people, I'm all kind of real sorry, but that was the risk they took!

9. It's all a game.
The majority of Rethugs & Dems support the US Occupation of Iraq for an indefinite time frame ; that includes Sen. Clinton. . There are various reasons for this. You can speculate as to those reasons. The US Occupation will continue & the Dems will keep funding it. There will be a draw down but at least 60K US Troops & 140K Mercs will remain in Iraq. US presence in Iraq will continue for decades.
