I've heard talk about it but didn't pay much attention, and there isn't a whole lot on the site 'splaining it.
Doesn't anyone know anything???

Although they've opened it up to people that aren't students, it's very easy to control what people can and can't see on your profile. It basically has whatever info you want to put in about you, and it doesn't have the creepy pedophiles like MySpace does. You can set it so only your friends can view your profile...or even set it so that people cannot even search for you if you don't want (and only have "Friends" that you specifically add.
I have one so let me know if you want to know any more :hi:

meet people in college. The creator when he was at Harvard thought it was a good way ease the way into college. You have a site with your profile. It is going world wide now. They mentioned a wall or blackboard each member has where other people and friends can go to write on in the form of messages.

7. I dislike it. I prefer MySpace for that kind of thing. |
|
Facebook is more the college-student/high-school student type of networking website - you can find people you went/go to school with and get in touch. It seems a little less sleaze-filled than MySpace, but it's also a lot less fun (less people on it who I know in my experience, none of the music and video features etc).
It's not really anything thrilling.
