If it is WRONG to kill, then it is WRONG to kill ~~ except in self-defense or defense of others who are in danger. Death as punishment is not only hypocritical, but just so beneath a civilized society. I, too, believe that life w/o poss of parole is a much harsher and harder punishment.

Death is too easy a way out for this monster. Life would have been the more appropriate sentence..where he could experience and reexperience the distain and discust and daily terror of the consequenses of his actions....from his fellow inmates.
