Want to Change America? - Become an Evangelist

No not a religious one - a political one. I challenge you to tell all of your uninformed and blissfully ignorant friends, relatives, colleagues and anyone who will listen all the things you have learned here at DU. That is what I have done and it is working. I have opened many eyes to the facts we all know but are being so artfully suppressed by the MSM. Most importantly I tell them that our system is seriously broken and in need of immediate repair Then I tell them why and what they can do about it. On the latter, I implore them to pay attention and get informed. I encourage them to become engaged activists and not accept the bullshit being fed to them on T.V. as the gospel. I tell them to help support candidates who will represent the interest of the people and not the establishment and big corporations. Most importantly I encourage them to make their voices known. I think it behooves all of us here at DU not only to talk the talk, but to walk the walk. So my fellow DU'ers go forth and do good things. Help change our world by spreading the word and become an evangelist for progressive government and a return of our blessed democracy to the people for whom it was created.
