He has just completed his last tour of duty, as soon as he gets back to his base he will process out and he is done.

I was SO proud of him when he followed in his grandfathers footsteps and joined the Air Force, but given what an unmitigated jackass his boss is I have been a basket case the last few years, frankly way more than I have admitted to my friends and family.

Anyway, he is in Kuwait about to get on a plane, and will be in the states tomorrow morning.

I can breathe again.

And I am not his Mom!

(I do have a son in the USCG Reserves- was yanked back in on Sept 11th and served extended active for a few years- But, always stateside.)
