I know this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, but this is genuinely disturbing.

"What exactly is crazy about what Mr. Atkinson is suggesting? He's actually framing a very common-sense principal: If democracy is destroying America then democracy needs to go.

And, personally, there are very few of us here on FR who wouldn't like to see the lands of Allah turned into a glass parking lot. In fact, I'm saving a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne for when it happens."

Hmm. Let me guess here. "I don't drink alcohol because I love Jesus, but I sure would love to murder the people that don't." This is the epitome of the sickness that fundamentalist Christianity has become.

5. The "Jesus-Claude Van Damme" sickness, as I call it
Like one time I heard a guy use the "I came to bring not peace but a sword" quote to prove that Jesus loved to kick ass and hated peace

6. Mind boggling.
I'm sure you're correct that this imbecile calls himself a Christian.

10. If he were to drink the alcoholic stuff

he knows his invisible sky-buddy, Jesus, would send him to be burnt alive forever in hell.

4. Nuclear bombs...
can turn the average cowards into a bunch of confident little fuckers, can't it? Just drop the bomb and cheer. Now if they had to put their pasty-white selves on the line to defend this country, I think they'd be singing a different tune. LOL, what a bunch of pissants.

7. I hadn't thought of that
but you're right. They sure are brave in front of their TVs with a bag of chips and a frosty can of something nearby. But get them out on the front lines and watch them huff and puff and cry for their mommy and always be the guy running at the BACK of the pack (less chance of getting shot there, I think).

Yeah, not a good idea to put a self-professed brilliant armchair quarterback in a situation where he might actually have to do something. I mean, just look at who we have in the WH now! 'Nuff said.

9. Nukes would be the only way we could subdue Iran now that our
military is broken.

8. read Atkinson's mind-boggling proposal for * to be "President-for-Life"
which is the subject of the freeper thread.

"President Bush can fail in his duty to himself, his country, and his God, by becoming “ex-president” Bush or he can become “President-for-Life” Bush: the conqueror of Iraq, who brings sense to the Congress and sanity to the Supreme Court. Then who would be able to stop Bush from emulating Augustus Caesar and becoming ruler of the world? For only an America united under one ruler has the power to save humanity from the threat of a new Dark Age wrought by terrorists armed with nuclear weapons..."

These freeps are delusional  but also dangerous with this wacko rhetoric. Reminds me of the Nazi brown shirts who were fanatical about Hitler.

12. Some of the posters were rational, but a few of them
actually complained about democracy--wasn't that God's gift that we were exporting to Iraq and Afghanistan? I have never heard anyone (rational) dis democracy as a form of government. They just can't handle the fact that the voting public sometimes puts into office elected officials who don't agree with them (Democrats). Jesus effin Christ. I can't believe what I'm reading here. These people are bat-shit crazy.

15. If the 40 million babies hadn't been killed there wouldn't be any
jobs for undocumented immigrants - stupid freeper logic, since it admits they must not be "stealing" them from an Americans now, and surely the freeper wants to believe that someone is hiring undocumented aliens while able, willing to work US citizens starve.
