Corporate tracking Cookies and Web Blogs |
|
Whether visible or not blogs lay hundreds of tracking cookies on computers. I just did Ad Aware and got 137 hits on just one corporate "sponsor." This was less than a weeks usage, I clean cookies out regularly.
I am not going to quit blogging but, these Corps dropping cookies are a nuisance. This spying by corporations also pisses me off. With todays Constitutional Violations from the Gov. maybe cookies aren't something to be upset about but..... do we know for sure who these cookies come from, and what "other" tracking is possible by data dropping on our personal private usage of the World Wide Web? I may be a tin foiler but - it's for a good reason. Constitutional Violations of a personal nature.

1. most cases you agree to accept those cookies via terms of service.... |
|
if you don't want them, according to their terms of service, you most likely have to use a cookie blocker security level. then again, the blogs or sites may not load properly or at all in that case.
not a consititutional violation most likely.
