so the History channel is showing the distorted histor y of
Katrina then goes on to deal with the path to 9/11. Of course they talk about shrub like he's the man. Funny how they skip over the birthday party in Coronado and the pdb of august 6.

1. I saw that. Still perpetuated the looting vs. "finding food" myth...
with the usual racial connotations.

The white woman was "finding food." The black men and women were "looting."

And very little was shown on Biloxi--except to say that the Oreck factory kicked up operations within a couple of weeks, which they determined to mean that things were good on the MS Gulf Coast.

Total bunk, as is much of what you find on History Channel, anyway. Drives me crazy when my students act like they're history experts because they saw a documentary or two on Hitler.
