2. I liked what Cleland said in the end about people being sick of the Rovish attack ads.
Edited on Mon Aug-27-07 08:00 AM by 8_year_nightmare
"People are sick of it." He said that voters aren't going to want to base their decisions on 30-second attack ads.

Edited to add: I'm against only attack ads that are lies & are geared only toward character assassination. I'm all for ads telling the truth.

6. I hope he's right..
but it seems like every campaign cycle everybody agrees that people are sick of it, but yet they continue to be effective..:-(

7. The corporate media feeds into it, but I'm not so sure the majority of voters can be fooled again
after 8 years of Bushco & how the Republicans operate in general.

3. For his role
in disparaging Max Cleland for cheap political gain, Ku Klux Karl should be forced to be Max Cleland's personal slave wearing a chain collar attached to a leash with Michael Vick, riding crop in hand, as his overseer.
I'm sure Max wouldn't approve, but I can dream, can't I!!
And Wolfie and his right wing media whore cohorts get pushed to the margins by a real American hero.
Hey Wolf, why weren't you asking Max these questions about dirty campaign ads when it counted?

5. Rumor has it
that Karl might enjoy the chain, leash and riding crop. We're just waiting for the pictures to be released.
