Could Cheney be next? Part of deal to avoid Bush impeachment?
I know several here have been following the various posts on blogs attributed to anonymous (supposedly a whistle-blower from within with first hand knowledge that has, at times been right on). I don't know if " " posting on TPM is the same person, but I found this post to be intriguing at the very least... Bush* was his usual petulant, irritated, but resolved self this morning, which would be the case if someone were forcing his hand. Here it is:
************************
Comments:

Now that the Justice department is finished with it's house cleaning, The rest of the deal Bush made to spare himself impeachment will begin. The Cheney resignation will be forth coming within the time frame I estimated last week. There are three weeks left on that clock. If you look through obscure posts from three weeks ago until last week, you will see my original predictions about Rove (perfectly timed) and Gonzales (also one week prior as stated) Deny my accuracy and attribute it to coincedence or guessing if you like, but within three weeks from this day the dark one falls. The deal has been made and the substance of it is out. I am not a mystic and do not own a crystal ball. I do however own many devices that are able to communicate messages through the air. These have been put to great use.. Cheney is next, and you heard it here first. AS I STATED WITH MY OTHER POSTS MARK THIS ONE! Do not talk of it, Just mark it! It will be a great remebrance!

1. A dream come true, if true,
as long as the investigations continue. I want people to pay beyond just losing their jobs.

10. Yes, a dream come true for the Rethugs
They can appoint Jeb or Petraeus or anyone they want as Veep, and then run them as an incumbent in 2008.

4. Is this from the astrologer's forum?
I guess I'm not up on the predicted disaster. Can you fill us in?

Or has this been "leaked" as a supposed date for Iran to be bombed?.....

Cheney, himself is a living disaster, so perhaps all predictions are true? ;)

Mystery trader bets market will crash by a third
Renée Schultes
16 Aug 2007

An anonymous investor has placed a bet on an index of Europe's top 50 stocks falling by a third by the end of September, as world equity markets plunged for a third day and volatility hit a three-year high.

The mystery investor has bought put option contracts on the DJ Eurostoxx 50 index that will result in a profit if it plunges to 2,800 or below by the end of September. Based on the 2,800 strike price, the position covers a notional €6.9bn, and potentially even more using a market price of about 4,100 when the trades were done on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The identity of the investor is unknown but market sources speculated it was either a large hedge fund hedging itself against deepening losses, or a long-only fund manager pressing the panic button to protect its gains.

The investor has bought a total of 245,000 put options on the index. The September put option with a 2,800 strike was the most popular DJ Eurostoxx 50 contract yesterday, according to data from Bloomberg.

No, thanks. If this comes to pass, it will only be to put their next nominee front and center.

8. Bush is politically impotent without Cheney pulling his strings
Edited on Mon Aug-27-07 02:52 PM by StopThePendulum
Question is, when Cheney rides off into the sunset, who will replace him as (vice)-pResident/puppetmaster? I hope it's not Ghouliani--or DeLie.

BTW, if the Dems are smart, they'd wait until after Bush leaves office to slap indictments on the crooks who once occupied the White House. This way Bush won't be able to pardon them because no charges will have been filed while he was in office.

15. The REAL Question: "Are Bush and Cheney Next?"
I had a dream last night, I saw the Promised Land.
And in that verdant valley lies a beautiful theatre,
and the marquee read:

"The Texas Resignation Chain Letter"

After all, Cheney only used his WY address as a tax dodge!

i.e., re: the Texas Resignation Chain Letter. Sort of seems you are mocking this "anonymous" poster and I certainly have not a clue as to his/her veracity... But, beyond that, I'm not following your point.

resign too, like a chain letter of Texas resignations. Get it?

They can just share the file and edit a bit....

Okay, it is a bit vague if not totally obtuse, as humor goes.
Some of us were around for a previous massacre, during the Nixon years.
The Saturday Night Massacre: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturday_Night_Massacre

And there was a weird movie back then, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre ....
