Congress - it's called INHERENT CONTEMPT ... and it's long overdue for Bush, Cheney, Rove, .... |
|
... Gonezo and others to be so charged.
DO THE JOB WE ELECTED YOU TO DO AND THAT WE PAY YOU TO DO.

and when was the last time this was used? Must of been used during Watergate, right? Nope.
Just because they haven't used inherent contempt, doesn't mean that they aren't doing their jobs. Rove's gone. Gonzo's gone. That happened because of dems.

3. They're gone, but we don't want them forgotten. Let them not... |
|
...just walk off into the sunset, with no accountability, and no prison time for the treason they've not just been involved in, but orchestrated.

6. I am with you, I vividly recall Judith Miller in jail for contempt |
|
none of these officials has even attempted to work with the legislative branch or the judicial branch (including DOJ officials), they are only interested in enacting GOP campaign strategies and Bush doctrine. I say use the power of Congress to deal with the contempt for the rule of law that we have with this administration.

7. Too bad Gonzo resigned |
|
An impeachment inquiry on Gonzo would have made an inherent contempt attempt much stronger.
I hope Democrats have the sense to see that they need to protect the constitution. They need to kick Bush's ass. They need to go to war with what they've got.
