Is your state Mine Inspector elected or appointed? |
|
In Arizona, it's an elected position that I never gave much thought to and with recent events I'm ashamed of that.
There's enough money spent on the campaigns to make me wonder why it is so coveted; there are always several candidates for it but the campaigns are mostly signage and print ads. I'm sure in parts of the state where mining is still important that it matters a lot.
So just curious--how is it in your state?
